What We Learned Today: They say that by now our bodies are supposed to be conditioned and our walking is supposed to be easier; they lie.
Today was another beautiful day. We are once again putting on a lot of sun screen as the afternoons are hot. But the late afternoon also brought an awesome breeze that kept us from completely burning up.

Today was mostly just a long haul. After staying in albergues the last few days, we treated ourselves to a small hotel tonight. What luxury!
It looks like a quintessential hike through the country side. Quaint buildings and beautiful rolling fields. Karen, so sorry your feet are not cooperating. Hopefully the pain is not bad, but I'm guessing I'm wrong on that. Hopefully the views are able to distract your mind. Also, I loved in the last blog how you stated that your bodies should have adjusted but it was a lie. We always want to believe the best... Possibly those people who say that have just lost their marbles and no longer feel the strain or pain due to delusions. ;) Or at least you can pretend that's the case.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you feet start healing and your journey becomes even more wonderious! Keep pressing on ladies. You are doing a fabulous job on your trek!
